Dear Mr.John Doe: I'm looking for some advice and counsel from people I know and trust. The company that I am employed with has informed me that they are looking to downsize the entire department that I work in. Unfortunately at this time, the company that I have been employed at for seven years does not have a position that they feel would be a fit for my skill set. I enjoy working in technology and I am looking forward to moving on to a new position through my job search. 

The list below demonstrates a few of skills and technologies that I am expert in:

 

*** Outlining detailed specifications of projects with deliverable dates.*** Project management and coding of business and financial applications.

*** C#/Java, .Net, VB, COM, FoxPro, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, and XML.

*** Oracle, SQL Server 2000, MS Access, FoxPro. 

You're a successful person with friends who are also successful. Perhaps you, or someone you know, are aware of a firm that needs someone with my capabilities.
