Did displaced low income residents of the Katrina flood get the short end of the stick? - Friday, September 10, 2010 9:44 PM
I watched a spike lee special on HBO. I watched at how the gov went in after the storm to help improve the low income housing living conditions. The approach gov appeared to be taking was to remove sturdy - available housing and replace it when new units. The problem was that the new units were vastly more expensive then the original housing costs. The result was permanent displacement for the most vulnerable people in society.

Did government work or fail for these residents?
